Why the name "Crystallyne Creations"? Well, my first and middle names are Crystal Lynn. It only occurred to me recently that if you say the names together it sounds like "Crystalline"! *boggle* I can't tell you how shocked I was that I had never thought about that before! *laugh* So yes, the title is a play on my name. But beyond the play on words, I believe that within me is a multi-faceted personality that likes to explore many areas of life. Like a Crystal! ^_^
Hmm, what else to say about myself... Well I live in Seattle, Washington. My birthday is on November 27, 1977. I am currently a student at the Art Institute of Seattle, studying to be an Animator.
I grew up in Coos Bay, Oregon. I spent most of my life in Utah, and I've also lived in Colorado. But the Northwest is really my home. A lot of people think I'm nuts, but I love the rain. When it's bright and sunny out I tend to be in a sour mood. Don't ask. *laugh* But give me a gray rainy day and I'm happy. Unless I have to walk in the rain. Okay yeah, that part sucks. I hate wet sketchbooks. *sigh* But sitting at home, listening to the rain patter on the roof and windows... now that's happiness.
In my free time I like to draw, surf the internet, watch tv, play computer games, do arts and crafts, and write stories and poems. When I watch tv I like to watch shows on the Discover Channel, TLC, Animal Planet, Travel Channel, and Cartoon Network. (Yeah, I'm not THAT boring. *laugh*) I love to meditate, and usually listen to new age music. I also like music from my favorite Anime's, soundtracks, Japanese Taiko Drumming, and Native American music.
